Media in Europe

This week, Sorin Petan shared his perspective on what is happening in European Christian media, informing us of some of the challenges and opportunities.  He is a student at the School of Communication & the Arts, and is currently working with ReelGood television.  We'll be bringing more people in to share about their mission field and different ways to impact the world throughout the year, and we'll post who is speaking on the blog in advance.

Here are some of the links he showed us about how the Internet is playing a part in Christian media in Europe.

Knowing God – multilingual evangelistic site: http://www.connaitredieu.com/

WhyJesus – internet evangelism course, with introductory notions about Jesus, with Christian tutors allocated to "students" – powered by EO, Netherlands

GodRev.com – evangelistic site which also displays a map with people getting saved, live. http://www.godrev.com/joy-in-heaven/ (pretty cool, and it's a great idea for fundraising)

The leading evangelical site for the French-speaking world is called Top Chretien - http://www.topchretien.com/

The Romanian ministry I was a part of is called Alfa Omega Tv Romania, and the video portal I showed at the end is http://www.alfaomega.tv/iptv/
